“Movement – Eye – Hand

The hand acts as an extension for the eye, how an observation is carved in to the plate, the sheet and perpetuates the fleeting moods. Working with graphics is a purely physical experience; a black sooty line accentuates movements, rhythms and shape, which intensifies the expression.

The dual and opposing interests me as a reflection, twins, front – back, comes – or goes.

My home is situated by a fairway where I frequently observe ships from far and nearby glide past. From my kayak I experience islands, islands that perceives me of human vulnerability, courage, independence, isolation and longing.

It´s not always as it seems
The unpredictable the not expected
The simple is complicated
It is now and timeless”
