I was born in 1956 in the north of Sweden and attended the Royal University College of Fine Arts in Stockholm from 1978–1983. In Dublin I have visited and worked at the Graphic Studio Workshop for many years. Since 2005 I am an Associate Member of Graphic Studio Dublin and since 2013 I am also a Associate Member of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers, London.

Since I was seventeen years old I have been working with the drypoint technique. To feel and hear the steel needle travelling in the copperplate is meditative music for me.

The happy surprise of printmaking is, besides working with a unique media, that after a long period of thinking and scratching upon the copperplate, I can print extra copies from the plate, give away prints, or sell the prints not too expensively. I print my prints myself. There is something unpredictable working with drypoint, the inscribed lines live theirs own lives in the copper – I like that.
