Biography

1942
KG Nilson was born in Falun, Sweden

1961
Valand School of Fine Art Göteborg university, Gothenburg, Sweden

1962
Atelier 17, Paris, France

1963-68
Studies at The Royal University College of Fine Arts, Stockholm. At the same time, he studied aesthetics, and the history of art and literature at the University of Uppsala, where he was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1966.

1972-83
He taught theory of colour at the Swedish National College of Art and Design in Stockholm, Sweden.

1983-93
Professor of Graphic Art at The Royal University College of Fine Arts, Stockholm
